Family
Cheryl and I met in 2005 while I was serving as a District Executive in the Sequoia Council, in Fresno, California. We were married in 2007.
When we left Fresno for Roswell, New Mexico and the Conquistador Council, Troop 288 honored Cheryl with an award for serving as the unit's seamstress. She mended second-chance uniforms and added patches onto shirts and sashes. While in Roswell, Cheryl served as the Conquistador Council's accounting assistant.
For relaxation, we enjoy exploring the local sites, visiting museums, tasting the cuisine unique to the area, and spending time at the gun range. We have two dogs, a Bernese Mountain Dog (Scout) and a rescue (Maggie).
My father passed away in 2013. Since then my mom (Lena) has moved with us. In Texarkana, she lived three houses down from us. In Spokane, she lives with us. We are a family and we plan to stay together, and the dogs have become accustomed to my mom spoiling them.
It has been a wonderful journey, traveling around the country and meeting new people. We are looking forward to our next adventure. As they say, "In life it is not where you go it is who goes with you."
